MOVES: Solar Beam

Solar Beam can be a confusing one because The Pokémon Company didn't fully explain the move. Solar Beam is a move where on the first turn the Pokémon adorbs sunlight, and the next attacks.

But, have you been losing more often because the Pokémon are "very quick" and doesn't wait till the next turn?

The Pokémon company leaked how in Episode 4 of Diamond and Pearl TV Series, that when you, or opponent, uses Sunny Day or has a ability to create "harsh sunlight", Solar Beam reacts quicker then normal.

TOP STRATEGY WARNING

DO NOT use Sunny Day with Grass Types just incase they know Solar Beam.

(Some Fire Types can learn Solar Beam like Charizard)

TOP STRATEGY SOULUTION

TERA RAID BATTLES

Tera Raid Battles are 75% of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The Official Pokémon Company gave some really good info on them.

Based off of the brand new Pokémon Event Raid Battle, Mewtwo, I struggle to defeat Mighty Mewtwo. If you caught him, your a MASTER!! But recently I've caught previous Walking Wake, Iron Leaves, Chesnaught, and Delphox, so I thought this would be easy, I was wrong...

Considering the fact I don't have many Ghost, Dark, or Bug type Pokémon this was challenging. I also wanted to bring out a level 100 Pokémon. And your probably wondering, "Why didn't you bring out Mew?", Because my Bug Tera Type Mew is at Level 69.

So, enough of this story, lets get to defeating Mewtwo. If you see this after this event has ended, click here for all Tera Tips. and click here for my Tera Tip!

Ok, just a heads-up, Tera Raid Battles are battles where you can team up Online with real players(Nintendo Switch Online Membership and Linked Nintendo Account needed), or Offline with CPU's.

But anyway, if you missed the team-up with special Tera-Type Pokémon event, AKA Prepare to face mighty Mewtwo event, featuring Blissey, Scisor, Hydriegon, Hatterene, and Grimmsnarl;

It's ok, because if you look hard enough you might find one, or a Tera Raid battle with the same Pokémon. But anyway, way lets get started!

First thing is first you need a strong lv. 100 character.

1. Try not too use all your experience candy on other Pokémon than the compatible ones that have more of a effect.

2. Use Pokémon that are only in the list for a bigger percent chance you'll win.

3. Have fun, and best of luck!

4. Go to Chansey Supply and get lots of stat boosters. Like Zinc, and Carbon, and everything else with the same icon.

Ok, here is a list of Pokémon you can find through out the game. If you have Pokémon HOME, and you have compatible long-time partners, I can be super helpful!

A JigglyPuff that knows Bug Type moves

A Venonat and evolve it or a Venomoth

A Scyther and evolve it or a Scizor

A Ditto maybe?

A Eevee that knows a bug type move or any of it's evolutions

A Pineco and evolve it or a Forretress

Or from Pokémon Legends Arceus, available on E-Shop Digital Edition or Game Card. Or Pokémon GO.)

A Dewott and evolve it or a Samurott

A Larvesta and evolve it or a Volcarona

And see if that works out for you!

Best of luck! ~ BRAXIEN

POKéMON TYPE ADVANTAGES

Pokémon type advantages is one of the main things to keep in mind while battling. For newer games they tell you if it's "super effective", nothing shows if just "effective", or "not very effective" .

I found my self relying on that so much, that I was confused when I play a classic Pokémon game.

But, it is very helpful. Cause now I know Dark is "super effective" on Ghost. Or Fighting is "super effective" on Normal.

But, most of my typing knowledge is from the TV series. I remember from Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, a Bonsly ran away from the water, and Max said that Water is "super effective" on Ground.

Other type advantages are easy to remember. Here's my trick:

Q: What puts out a Fire? (A: Water!) Water is "super effective" on Fire types.

Q: When you spill Water on a electronic, does it boost the electricity, and  cause the machine to explode? (A: Yes) Electric is "super effective" on Water, and Water "not so effective" on Electric types.

Q: What do plants need to grow and make food? (A: Water and sunlight) Water is "not so effective" on Grass, and Grass is "super effective" on Water types.

Q: What covers the Ground? (A: plants and Water!) Grass and Water are "super effective" on Ground types.

Q: When you fight nothing, what does it do? (A: Nothing!) Fighting have "no effect" on Ghost types.

Q: Can you fight negative energy? (A: Yes!) Fighting is "super effective" on Dark types.

Q: Would you hit something cute? (A: I can't answer it for you, but no!) Fighting is "not very effective" on Fairy types.

And that is how a remember type advantages.
